It got to the point where I just stopped taking action on my desires because I feared repeating the patterns.
I felt so fucking guilty for how I treated my body, let others treat me, so I closed off completely.
I felt slutty, undesirable and dirty because of all I had done.
Then I went celibate for 2 years, thinking that would fix it.
AND here's the truth: Celibacy didn't heal those wounds. I was just avoiding the underlying problems.
I had to do the deeper work around the underlying issues of shame and unworthiness.
The guilt and shame from past sexual experiences can weigh heavy on your heart, making it difficult to move forward.
